"I started riding in local mounted games (gymkhanas) when I was 3 or 5. I started taking legitimate lessons at age 10, first learning to ride English and eventually switching to Western riding which I have been enamored with it ever since.
My parents bought my first horse when I was 11, it was a recently rescued, emaciated, 3 year old Arabian x QH gelding I called "Apollo.' He taught me more about patience, persistence, and dedication than I ever imagined was possible. Apollo is now 24 and lives with my parents in Vermont; additionally, I have 2 AQHA geldings named Sebastian and Babe, and an ASB named Gus.
In addition to my own horses, I have worked extensively at other facilities restarting OTTBs, Arabians, and BLM mustangs. One of my biggest joys is knowing that I had an active part in creating safe mounts that go on to ride in a variety of disciplines happily and successfully!"
